The celebration of Epiphany honors the visit of the Magi, who represent God's revelation of the Messiah to the gentiles. Of course, a key highlight of this story is how these 'wise men' found Jesus by following a remarkable star in the heavens. The crafts here pay homage to that star, and to Christ, the real star of our lives. A decorative ornament and faux 'stained glass' use the shape and sparkle of stars, while a 'telescope' provides opportunity to look up at the sky, and also doubles as a noisemaker.

Are you looking for craft ideas for your holiday decoration? Here is a creative and interesting way to make Christmas star ornaments with yarn. It is very similar to filigree artwork, which commonly refers to delicate jewelry metalwork made with twisted threads soldered to the surface of an object. We can make some variations and use yarn to create this beautiful Christmas star. First you need to soak the yarn in liquid glue. Then place the star template on a piece of foam. Use toothpicks to outline the shape of the star and then twine the yarn around to make the star. With the same technique, you can make other patterns of Christmas ornaments, such as bells, hearts, Christmas trees and so on. These will be wonderful additions to your holiday decoration. Happy crafting!
